How does the Schengen 90/180 counter work?
For any day, Passmio looks back over the previous 180 days and counts every day you spent in the Schengen area, entry and exit days included. You can stay up to 90 of them. The counter shows how many days you have left today, and when days start to come back.
Do I need to keep the app open?
No. Add trips by hand, rebuild them from photos, or turn on automatic tracking, which checks in a few times a day in the background with very little battery.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Passmio has no account and no server for your trips. Everything, including the photo scan, runs on your phone.
Can I track a rule that isn’t listed?
Yes. Make a custom counter: choose a place (or any day abroad), a maximum number of days and a window of 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. Add a start date and an end date if the rule only applies for a while, for example a visa.
Is this legal or tax advice?
No. Passmio is a careful day counter with sources for each rule, but your situation may have exceptions. For decisions with legal or tax consequences, check with the official authority or an adviser.
